Meet the Electrologist

Hello! My name is Cassie (she/her) and I am the owner and electrologist at Sol Electrolysis. As an electrologist, my work goes beyond just removing hair- it's about connecting with my clients on a personal level and ensuring their experience is not only effective but also comforting and supportive. Each client brings a unique story and set of concerns, and getting to know them allows me to tailor treatments to their specific needs. Whether it's someone struggling with persistent facial hair or someone with sensitive skin, I take pride in offering exceptional care and results. The satisfaction I feel when a client leaves with a newfound confidence is immeasurable- it's why I love what I do.

I opened Sol Electrolysis in January 2022 and I absolutely love my work! I enjoy the tediousness of it and as a woman with PCOS, I have always struggled with my own unwanted hair. I completely understand how it feels to have unwanted hair. Having my unwanted hair permanently removed by my electrologist (who happens to be my sister-in-law in Edmonton, shout out to Maria!) was such a relief and such a boost to my self esteem. It is so rewarding to have that impact on others, and I am so grateful for the clients that put their trust in me! Many clients come in feeling embarrassed about the hair they're asking me to treat- but the reality of it is I have seen hair all over the body and I have seen all types of bodies. I graduated Swanson’s Canadian Institute of Electrolysis in March of 2021 after completing their 500-hour program. I am also a member of the Canadian Organization of Professional Electrologists which sets the standard for certified electrologists.
